This essay surveys Albert Einstein's famous theory of relativity, as well as his journey towards becoming a brilliant physicist. In his early childhood, Einstein struggled in school. Yet, he persevered and went on to achieve many accomplishments as a scientist and as an individual, including: writing a letter to the President of the United States initiating the Manhattan Project, receiving an offer for the presidency of the state of Israel, and even being considered a threat to the Nazis, so much so that his name was added to the SS hit list. Further, this piece not only informs students about Einstein, but also provides insight into some of the lesser-known aspects of Einstein’s life.
